Cameron Chandler
Hi! My name is Cameron Chandler (a lot of you may know me as Cameron Poole; I just got married in October!) I am so excited to be able to come back to Bravo, where I took dance and gymnastics for 10 years, to teach these cheer classes and help prepare for cheer tryouts! I cheered at Louisiana Tech University on the blue squad for 3 years during my 4 years of college! I took the last year off to focus on graduate school. Louisiana Tech has 3 different cheer squads. They are the white, red, and blue squad, where blue is the highest skilled team. Going into college as a freshman on the blue team was very intimidating, but I quickly made several friends that always encouraged me to do my best, which is what cheerleading is all about, cheering people on! I learned so many skills throughout my 3 years of college cheer that I never thought I would ever be capable of doing. Some helpful advice is to always believe in yourself and don’t be scared to try new things! This really helped me as I tried some very scary stunts. Cheer not only taught me a variety of skills, but also taught me several life lessons. I learned how to be apart of a team and help other teammates when they needed it. I learned the responsibility of showing up to practice on time. I also learned that younger people looked up to me a lot and that I always needed to be a good role model for them. Throughout these classes, I will teach skills that will prepare you for tryouts all while preparing you to be the best teammate you can be!
Emily Moore
My name is Emily Moore! I’m from El Dorado, but currently live in Ruston, LA. I’m married to my high school sweet heart, Drew, and we recently welcomed our precious daughter, Chandler, in August. I cheered for 6 years throughout junior high & high school which included experience in the All-Star cheer world. In college, I had the privilege of being a Universal Cheer Association Staffer, where I helped staff numerous cheer camps in the mid south area. For the past 6 years, I have been the varsity cheer coach at Cedar Creek in Ruston. Cheer has always been a passion of mine, and I’m always looking for ways to help others enjoy it as much as I do!
